Mount Faber Park

Housing the cable car station and transmission towers, the ridge park of Mount Faber is one of the oldest parks in Singapore, located south-west of the island. A popular destination with tourists and locals alike, this 56-ha park is linked to Sentosa Island via cable car. Visiors can enjoy the panoramic view it offers of the southern part of Singapore, Sentosa Island and some others offshore islands. The night view of the city skyline is simply breathtaking. It is certainly justifiable to say the view it offers is unrivalled. Of course, taking the cable cars provides one with a scenery from a different perspective. Hence, this park is also known as the "scenic park".

To boost its popularity, a redevelopment programme has been implemented to rejuvenate the park. The design of the park also took into account its topography. Now, lookout points at various sides of the ridge are available.

Besides being a tourist attraction, the park is also popular amongst residents living at the foot of the hill. An ideal location for jogging, enjoying the scenery or simply spending a sunday morning with family members!
